I happily spotted the sign for Mia's while I was leaving Derby Street Shops, and I pulled into a spot right in front of the bakery. So far so good! The woman working was very helpful and answered any questions I had. Everything looked delicious, and I was struggling to narrow down what to choose. I opted for the eclair which is always a good standby. I'm a huge fan of trying out new bakeries, and I will definitely be back next time I'm at the shops based on the quality and taste of the eclair. I can't wait to try some other options as well.

My partner and I ordered a slice of blackout cake to go - TASTE: 4/5 - this classic chocolate cake really hit the spot and wasn't too artificially sweet TEXTURE: 5/5 - blackout cake sounds heavy, but it was honestly well balanced w moist cake, light chocolate custard, and chocolate cake crumbs PRICE: 4/5 - the individual slice isn't cheap. Total came to $9 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - we shared this post-dinner slice and it was enough to satisfy our craving SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 6pm on a Saturday and only a couple others were inside.
